We got destroyed..

On the weekend we got absolutely slaughtered by the top team. In the first half it was like we weren't even there! It was just goal, after goal, after goal, for them. They probably got 15+ goals in the first half! In footy that is a crazy amount, and what a team would maybe get for a whole game. I think we did so bad that we did not even get a score over the first half.

The second half, our coaches told us to show some pride for our club, and not to drop our heads. We had nothing to lose, so we went out there and everyone started to go harder and we actually began to get some scores on the board. We kept them to a few goals per quarter, and it was looking much more of an even game, from there on in. Although they were still easily the better side that day.

It is our last game this coming weekend, and we really want to finish off on a good note. We want to get Melville's hopes down, by getting close to or even beating them, so they feel like they don't stand a chance in the finals. All our team wants to do right now is destroy another teams finals hopes. I know it might sound a bit mean, but we have no chance of making it, and the feeling of knowing you've hurt another teams confidence, and maybe ruined their finals chance is great=)

My workouts have actually been going alright lately. Yesterday I went with Rocky and Hoppy, and we got a fair bit done, although I'm not feeling much pain today from yesterdays efforts. My workouts are feeling a lot easier now, so I'll have to add some more weight, or increase reps.

There's only a couple more days left of my fitness program, so I will be finished letting you know about how I'm going very soon, and I will try continue at the rate I have been going, without being so lazy.. Talk soon, see ya.

  9. Yeahh Mazz, it is actually really hard to keep going with a workout, but once you make it a routine thing then it just feels like a natural, everday thing.
